350 lbs or Bust: Catching up with a JD 400 Owner on his Little Buck Loader
Randall from Willis, Michigan, has been making the most of his Little Buck Loader since he first attached it to his John Deere 400 back in 2019. When we checked in with him recently, he shared some of the diverse ways he’s been putting the loader to work around his property, and it’s clear he’s getting a lot of use from it.
One of his largest projects has been creating an RV parking pad in his backyard. To get the job done, Randall used his Little Buck Loader to haul gravel from the front of his garage to the back, saving himself a tremendous amount of heavy lifting. He’s also used it for moving large logs to his wood splitter—making his firewood prep easier and safer—and even supported a 2x4 with the loader while working on a deck addition, showing how versatile the loader can be for both major projects and smaller tasks.
“These tasks have all gone well with no issues whatsoever,” Randall told us. “As an owner of this loader for 2 years, it has performed well. I will say the loader has its limitations for the weight it can carry. Your product description states 350 pounds, and I have lifted every bit of that. It all depends on what each tractor is capable of lifting as well.”
Randall added, “I highly recommend the loader to anyone who is considering buying one. And, great company support for questions and concerns.”
Randall’s feedback and creativity in using his Little Buck Loader inspire us, and we’re grateful to know it’s been a reliable asset for him. Thank you, Randall! We can’t wait to see what new projects he’ll take on with his loader, whether it’s tackling big builds or helping with everyday maintenance around the property.
